A machine for forming a projected outer peripheral surface of a crown type pulley, which can prevent a defective product from being produced during forming of a pulley as compared with a structure in which the pulley is formed by vertically pressing the pulley by forming the pulley such that a peripheral surface of the pulley is convex, is provided. A machine for forming a projected outer peripheral surface of a crown type pulley(50) comprises a spindle(110) which is rotatably inserted into a spindle case(112) fixed onto a worktable(100), of which an exposed lower part is rotatably connected to a spindle motor(114), and which has a cylindrical pulley fixed onto an exposed top thereof; a clamp cylinder(120) fixed to a connector(104) for connecting at least a pair of support bars(102) extending to an upper part of the worktable; an upper jig part(130) rotatably installed on a lower end of the clamp cylinder to pressurize an upper edge of the pulley; a press cylinder(140) fixed onto the worktable; a press jig(150) formed on an end of the press cylinder and moved forward and backward; and a roller(160) which is rotatably connected to an end of the press jig by a shaft(164), and which has a concave curved surface(162) formed on a peripheral surface thereof to press the peripheral surface of the pulley such that a projected part is formed on the pulley fixed by pressing of the upper jig part.
