A storage device and an access controlling method are provided to quickly respond to an external device by a having different band-secured access periods from each other is implemented to the storage device through a plurality of ports. A plurality of ports receives a first type access, a second type access having the longer band-secured access cycle than the first access type, and other kinds of accesses. A slot access controller(2) prepares whole schedule by arranging the plurality of slot units having a length within the band-secured access cycle of the first type access in the band-secured access cycle of the second type access. The slot access controller allocates one time slot to each slot units for the port used for the first type access among the slots and allocates one time slot to one cycle of the whole schedule for the port used for the second type access. The first type access is used for playing data and the second type access is used for storing the data.
