An LCD is provided to use for advertisement or interior decoration, by removing an optical sheet between a light source and an LCD panel so as to show an inside of the light source or bright lines of the light source through the LCD panel. An LCD comprises an LCD panel(10) and a light source(20) for supplying light to the LCD panel. Bright lines of the light source are displayed on the LCD panel. The light source is a directive type light source. The light source includes a plurality of lamps(21) arranged in parallel with one another. The LCD further comprises a reflecting sheet for reflecting lights supplied from the plurality of lamps to the LCD panel.
