A vertical universal heat exchanger and a heat pump system using the same are provided to form vertical direct and alternative flow of refrigerant by using a vertical tube coil. In direct inflation coil structure manufactured so that a refrigerant passing through the inside of a coil and air flowing on an outer surface of the coil are heat-exchanged in a form of vertical direct and alternative flows, the coil for refrigerant is vertically installed. The installed vertical coils are spaced in a horizontal direction and horizontally arranged. The coils are connected to upper and lower parts of the coil structure with a head. The coil for refrigerant are connected to each other in parallel by head distributing pipes at the upper and lower parts.
