A fuel cell system is provided to reduce the consumption of electric power necessary for the operation of a water supply unit by omitting a water supply pump, thereby improving the generation efficiency of a fuel cell system. A fuel cell system(100) comprises an electricity generation part(110) which generates electricity by the electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen; an oxygen supply part(150) which supplies the gas containing oxygen to the electricity generation part; a reformer(120) which reforms the fuel containing hydrogen to generate a hydrogen gas and supplies the hydrogen gas to the electricity generation part; and a water tank(140) which is connected with the oxygen supply part to supply the stored water to the reformer by the gas pressure of the oxygen supply part and is provided with a pressure controller.
