摘要 A transflective VVA(valley vertical align) mode LCD is provided to prevent deterioration of color productivity in a transmission area and implement color reproductivity required in a reflection area by forming a lower valley at a white resin layer of a lower substrate in the transmission area, and forming an upper valley at a color filter layer in the reflection area. A lower substrate includes a white resin layer(112) on a lower glass substrate(111), a reflective electrode and a reflective plate(113) on a white resin layer(112a) of a reflection area(A) of the white resin layer, a transparent electrode(114) and a plurality of lower valley provided on a white resin layer(112b) of a transmission area(B) of the white resin layer. An upper substrate(120) faces the lower substrate, includes a color filter layer(122) and a common electrode(123) sequentially provided on an upper glass substrate(121), and a plurality of upper valleys(124) formed at a portion corresponding to the reflection area. A liquid crystal layer(130) is disposed between the lower substrate and the upper substrate.
