A hinge type door closer is provided to reduce shock of a door at a moment when the door is closed. A hinge type door closer comprises a pressing unit(41), which is formed with a shaft fixing hole(411) in the center thereof, has an annular sleeve(412) extending around the shaft fixing hole in an axial direction, is formed with a ridge(413) around the sleeve, and has a hinge shaft(20) into the axle fixing hole so as to be integrally rotated with the hinge shaft, a damping piston(42), which is formed with a sleeve hole into which the sleeve is inserted so as to have a gap, is provided with a protrusion contacting the ridge due to rotation of the pressing unit at a predetermined position of one side facing the one side of the pressing unit, and is inserted into the hosing such that an outer surface thereof is movable in an axial direction in contact with an inner surface of the housing, a damper spring(43), which applies elastic force to the damping piston in a direction in which one side of the damper piston comes into contact with one side of the pressing unit, and a damping unit, which is filled in a space surrounded by the damping piston and the housing, and includes a sleeve hole(421) of the damping piston and a damping fluid flowing reciprocally through a gap between the pressing unit and the sleeve. |
