A mountain climbing navigation terminal system and an operating method for guiding a mountain course by using the same are provided to enable a user to receive a mountain course guidance service by storing mountain course trace data within a specific mountain area about which the user has no mountain climbing network data or generating a mountain climbing network of the mountain by downloading mountain course trace data of the other person from a mountain climbing navigation terminal of the other person. A mountain course trace storage generates mountain course trace data corresponding to a movement path that a user climbs by using location information received in a GPS(Global Positioning System) when the user climbs a specific mountain, and performs a control operation so as to store the generated mountain course trace data in a mountain database. A mountain climbing network generator performs a control operation so as to automatically generate a mountain climbing network capable of road guidance by using the mountain course trace data stored by the mountain course trace storage. |
