An air conditioning system is provided to prevent the propagation of bacteria inside a duct by sterilizing outdoor air with a sterilizer inside the air conditioning system while providing the sterilized air to an indoor unit, thereby creating comfortable indoor environment. An air conditioning system(100) comprises a case(110), a heat exchanger(120), a sterilization kit(130), a blower(140), and a control unit. The case has a receiving space therein, an air discharge port(114) and an air suction port(112) on its side surface. The heat exchanger is disposed inside the case for the exchange of indoor and outdoor air. The sterilization kit is installed on an air passage to sterilize various kinds of bacteria or microorganism by spraying sterilizing liquid. The blower is installed inside the case for intake or discharge of indoor/outdoor air. The control unit is electrically connected with the blower and sterilization kit to prevent splash of sterilizing liquid by controlling the RPM of the blower. |
