ELECTROPHORETIC DISPLAY CONSISTING OF MICROENCAPSULATED POLYANILINE PARTICLES SOLUBLE IN ORGANIC SOLVENTS

An electrophoretic display using an organic solvent-soluble microcapsulated polyaniline is provided to improve the resolution of electronic paper and to enhance transparency and electrical conductivity. An electrophoretic display is prepared by preparing a core material by using polyaniline-dodecyl benzenesulfonic acid and tetrachloroethylene and/or paraffinic hydrocarbon; adding styrene maleic anhydride as a nonionic surfactant to the core material and dispersing the obtained solution; preparing a prepolymer resin by using melamine and formaldehyde solution and adding an emulsion to the prepolymer resin to stir it with 500 rpm; and adding an emulsion drop by drop for the microcapsulation of polyaniline.
