A transponder for an RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) system is provided to prevent unauthorized payment, hacking or tracking that may be generated when a transponder is not used, by deactivating an antenna unit of the transponder when the transponder is not in use. A loop antenna(200) includes the first folded portion(210). A semiconductor chip(300) is electrically connected with the loop antenna(200) and stores certain identification information. When the loop antenna(200) is folded through the first folded portion(210), it does not form a loop antenna structure. A power supply unit supplies power to the loop antenna(200) and the semiconductor chip(300).
