A backlight assembly and a display device including the same are provided to achieve uniform quantity of emitted light by diffusing light with strong straightness using an optical sheet and uniform directivity of the emitted light by using condensing lenses. A first optical sheet(30) includes a first base film(31) disposed on a point light source(10), first diffusion beads dispersed within the first base film, and first condensing lenses(35) extending on the first base film in a first direction. A second optical sheet(55) includes a second base film(51) disposed on the first optical sheet, and second condensing lenses(55) extending on the second base film in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction.
