A method for measuring a heat transfer coefficient is provided to compute temperature-dependent heat transfer coefficient data by an automatic repeat calculation and to decide the heat transfer coefficient minimizing an error, in a type of a temperature-dependent function in the minimum time. A method for measuring a heat transfer coefficient includes a step of measuring experiment temperature data according to time of an experiment(S10); a step of deciding the optional heat transfer coefficient according to temperature(S20); a step of computing analytic temperature data according to time by using the heat transfer coefficient(S30); a step of calculating a differential value between analytic temperature in a same time range and measured temperature(S40); a step of judging whether the differential value is below a pre-set error value or not(S50); a step of adopting the differential value as the adequate heat transfer coefficient when the differential value is below the pre-set error value(S60); a step of compensating the heat transfer coefficient when the differential value is over the pre-set error value(S70); and a step of repeating steps from a third step.
