A connector is provided to suitably change the distance between a PCB and a connection target when the connector is mounted on the PCB. A connector includes the first connector(1) that receives a connection target(20) and the second connector(2) installed in a substrate. The second connector(2) is movably engaged with the first connector(1) while making contact with the outside of the first connector(1). The first connector(1) includes the first housing(3) formed with a receiving part(3a) and a plurality of contacts(4) fixed to the first housing(3). The second connector(2) includes the second housing(9) and a plurality of the second contacts(10) fixed to the second housing(9). The first contact(4) has the first end formed with an inside contact part(4d) and the second end formed with an outside contact part(4c). The inside contact part(4d) makes contact with a connection terminal of a connection target(20). The outside contact part(4c) is exposed in the outside of the first housing(3). The second contact(10) has the first end formed with an inside contact part(10e) and a connection part(10c). The inside contact part(10e) makes contact with the outside contact part(4c) when the first and the second contacts(1,2) make contact with each other. The connection part(10c) makes contact with printed circuits of the substrates(30,30a).
