Eyeglasses including a frame with two lenses, two temple arms, two hinges by which the temple arms are attached to the frame, and a respective temple arm link in each temple arm, each temple arm link defines a respective aperture through the temple arm. Each temple a rm link may be provided in the form of a clasp with a hook-shaped clasp body and a clasp ar m. The clasp body may provide a passage to the aperture for receiving a necklace link, and the cla sp body passage also permits removal of the necklace link though the passage. A combination including the eyeglasses, a necklace that terminates in a pair of necklace links, and a respective necklace link aperture in each necklace link through which the necklace link and a respective temple arm li nk can be engaged. An eyeglass hanging loop is attached to the necklace through which a temple arm can be extended and hinged against the frame so as to hang the eyeglasses from the loop.
