An apparatus and a method for coping with the disturbance of a disc drive are provided to recognize the disturbance exerted on the disc drive previously and prevent the disturbance from occurring. It is determined whether information related to disturbance occurrence is created in a system. A control operation corresponding to disturbance, which occurs later, according to the information is performed if the information is created(550). The information related to the disturbance occurrence includes a command of generating the vibration from the system. The information includes the intensity and frequency of the disturbance and the occurrence interval of the disturbance.
