A method and a system for providing a last bus information service in a mobile system is provided to enable each bus stop terminal receiving a flickering signal to flicker a time display device by enabling a server receiving a last bus notification signal from a bus terminal to request location information of the bus terminal and transmit the flickering signal to the bus stop terminal. The bus terminal(110) transmits the last bus notification signal when a last bus notification button is pressed. The bus stop terminal(112) includes the time display device for displaying available of the last bus. A bus database(170) stores bus information including bus line number, line number, bus stop, and first/last bus information of each bus. A last bus information service server(150) stores the location information of the bus terminal by requesting the location information of the bus terminal through the mobile network if the last bus notification signal is received from the bus terminal. The server transmits the flickering signal to the bus stop terminal if the location information of the bust terminal is identical with the location information of the bus stop terminal.
