A mobile communication system for unifying a CRBT(Coloring Ring Back Tone) with a bell sound and a method thereof are provided to enhance convenience for a user because the user can select a music in accordance with a situation. A mobile communication system for unifying a CRBT with a bell sound comprises a CRBT server(60), a CRBT IP(50), a receipt side MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(40), a BS(Base Station)(70) and a receipt terminal(10). The CRBT server(60) stores CRBT sound source codes for users, and updates the CRBT sound source codes when the CRBT is changed. The CRBT IP(50) transmits the CRBT sound source code, received from the CRBT server(60), and CRBT sound source, matched with the CRBT sound source code, to the receipt side MSC(40). The receipt side MSC(40) receives the CRBT sound source code and the CRBT sound source from the CRBT IP(50) and transmits a paging request message and the CRBT sound source code to the BS(70). The BS(70) receives the paging request message and the CRBT sound source code from, pages the receipt terminal(10) and transmits the CRBT sound source code to the receipt terminal(10). The receipt terminal(10) responds to the paging operation of the BS(70) and rings the bell sound matched with the transmitted CRBT sound source code.
