An electrodeless bulb and an electrodeless lighting system having the same are provided to suppress loss of discharge energy by forming an energy transfer suppression unit at a supporting unit contacting a light emitting unit. A radio frequency generation unit(121) generates a radio frequency. A resonator(131) is arranged at one side of the radio frequency generation unit in order to form an internal resonance mode by shielding emission of a radio frequency. A light emitting unit(143) includes a light emitting material. A supporting unit(145) is connected to the light emitting unit in order to support the light emitting unit. An energy transfer suppression unit(151) includes an energy transfer suppression groove in order to suppress transmission of light or heat energy. The energy transfer suppression groove is separated from a contacting surface of the supporting unit which is contacted with the light emitting unit. An electrodeless bulb is excited by the radio frequency, and then radiates the light.
