A method and a system for remotely monitoring data broadcasting are provided to receive remotely and reconstruct data broadcasting contents transmitted from a data broadcasting provider to a broadcasting platform to generate broadcasting streams and confirm whether data broadcasting is normally transmitted. A system for remotely monitoring data broadcasting includes a data receiver(54), a data broadcasting compression unit(55), a broadcasting program information generator(57), a multiplexer(58), a modulator(59), and a monitoring receiver(70). The data receiver receives data broadcasting contents from a broadcasting platform system through TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) communication. The data broadcasting compression unit compresses and encodes the received data broadcasting contents to generate data broadcasting streams. The broadcasting program information generator generates broadcasting program information required for a broadcasting receiver to receive data broadcasting signals. The multiplexer receives the data broadcasting streams and the broadcasting program information, reconstructs digital broadcasting streams and multiplexes the digital broadcasting streams. The modulator modulates the multiplexed broadcasting streams. The monitoring receiver receives the modulated broadcasting streams.
