The storage has a shelf comprising a set of shelf surfaces (11, 21) arranged parallel in a row and provided with doors (3, 4). Shelf access equipment (7) is movable along longitudinal fronts (10, 20) of the shelf. The equipment is provided for storing and releasing of storage goods in the surfaces and/or from the surfaces and for opening and closing the doors. The doors are guided at respective door rails (5, 6), which are aligned parallel to one another. The door rails are arranged horizontal and transverse to the longitudinal fronts, such that the doors are movable one after another.
