<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size of a reduction gear, in a disc brake for a vehicle, in which the reduction gear for reducing a speed of an electric motor and output of the electric motor is disposed to a caliper body, a motion converting mechanism converting a rotating power output from the reduction gear into an actuating force in an axial direction of a brake piston is interposed between the brake piston and the reduction gear. <P>SOLUTION: The reduction gear 32 includes: an eccentric rotor 56 rotated together with a motor shaft 55 disposed to the electric motor 11; an external gear 57 rotatably journaled to an outer periphery of the eccentric rotor 56; an internal gear 58 meshed with the external gear 57 and fixed and arranged to be coaxial with the motor shaft 55; an output member 59 connected not to be relatively rotatable with an input member 37 of the motion converting mechanism 33 disposed coaxially with the motor shaft 55; and an Oldham's mechanism 60 disposed between the external gear 57 and the output member 59 so as to transmit an only rotational components of the external gear 57. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
