<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide continuous cold rolling equipment best for improving so-called edge drop, i.e. a sharp reduction in the plate thickness of a rolling material in the vicinity of the plate edge of the material, in plate-rolling in which a rolling material is continuously rolled by a plurality of rolling mills. <P>SOLUTION: The continuous cold rolling equipment joins a plurality of hot rolled coils, corrects the distortion of the joined hot coil by a tension leveler 7, removes surface scales by passing the coil through acid pickling equipment 8, and continuously conducts rolling by a tandem mill 11 having two or more rolling mills. As the rolling mills, one or more work-roll shift mills 10 are arranged, in which upper and lower work-rolls having tapered roll-crowns at their front ends are movably set. Further, an edge drop measuring gauge 2a is set between the tension leveler 7 and a tension bridle roll 3, which is provided in the inlet side of the acid pickling equipment 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
