PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-ion battery enough securing airtightness and a steam barrier property inside an outer package having a laminated body made of complex films in a bag or a tray shape, and preventing burst of the outer package due to rise of an inner pressure as well as leak of electrolyte. SOLUTION: A safety valve 6 is provided at a part of a peripheral edge of the outer package 5 for releasing outside gas generated inside the outer package, constituted of a valve part 9 opening when gas pressure inside the outer package surpasses a given value, a gas permeating part 7 permeating nothing but gas, and a gas ventilating channel 8 guiding the gas from the valve part 9 to the gas permeating part, and the valve part 9 and gas permeating part 7 are arranged inside and outside the outer package, respectively, through the gas ventilating channel 8.
