GASTROINTESTINAL MUCOSA-ADHERENT MATRIX, PREPARATION AND COATING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gastrointestinal mucosa-adherent matrix that can elongate the retention time of medicinal component in the gastrointestinal tracts by allowing medicines to adhere to mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract so that the medicinal components may effectively be utilized for the living bodies. SOLUTION: On the neighborhood of at least surface layer of matrix particles that include polyglycerol fatty acid ester and/or lipid and also medicinal components, a substance selected from cellulose ether and natural viscous substance is dispersed and can develop viscosity when it comes into contact with water to give solid matrix at normal temperature in the dispersion state. As for matrix, the matrix particles may be coated with a coating agent including at least viscous substance.
