PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal, a camera, and a photographing limit system capable of completely inhibiting photographing by the camera at a particular place without the need for much cost for facility investment. SOLUTION: A wavelength detection section 103 extracts only a particular wavelength from received light and outputs a voltage in response to the intensity (amplitude) of the light of the wavelength component, a voltage detection section 104 monitors the output voltage from the wavelength detection section 103 and judges the presence/absence of the light with the particular wavelength depending on whether or not the value of the output voltage is a prescribed threshold value or over, and an amplitude detection section 105 monitors the output voltage from the wavelength detection section 103 and judges whether or not the light comes from light of a fluorescent lamp depending on whether or not the voltage value of the output voltage is oscillated. Further, a control section 106 judges whether or not a photographing place is a photographing inhibit place on the basis of detection signals in response to judgement results from the voltage detection section 104 and the amplitude detection section 105, and executes control of permitting or inhibiting photographing by a camera section 107 depending on a result of the judgement.
