PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip mechanism with a small fixture that can be operated with one hand, that prevents the direction of the front surface of the small fixture from shifting when clipping, and to provide an imaging apparatus equipped with the clip mechanism. SOLUTION: The clip mechanism comprises: a clip board 43 provided under the front surface side of the main body 31 that holds a web camera 20; two clamp arms 51L and 51R having root parts 52L and 52R that are rotatably attached to the rotating support part 33B, and having clampers 53L and 53R at the leading ends thereof; and springs for energizing so as to rotate the two clamp arms 51L and 51R around the rotating supporting part 33B in a separating direction and so as to narrow a distance between the clip board 43 and each of the two clampers 53L and 53R. Two torsion springs 61L and 61R wound around a holder 33U in a coil state are used as the springs, one end of the torsion spring is caught by the locking part 39 of the main body 31, and the other end is caught by the corresponding clamp arm 51L or 51R.
