PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector achieving the facilitation of maintenance care while restraining load on inside electric components by generated heat. SOLUTION: The projector 1 is equipped with: a projection part fixing member 4; a metallic plate 5 connected to the projection part fixing member 4 through an L-type fixing part 50; and an upper cover 2 and a lower cover 3 constituting an outside cover divided into two up and down while putting both side parts of the metallic plate 5 in between. The conduction of air among a projection part 45 equipped with a lamp 46 having a high heating value, substrates for power supply 61 and 62 and a control substrate 7 is interrupted one another. The projector is equipped with fans 91 and 92 to lower the temperature of space 25 including the substrates for power supply 61 and 62 and space 35 including the control substrate 7, and a fan 93 provided proximately to the lamp 46.
