PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yellow toner using a pigment which is excellent in heat resistance without leaking into a water phase during granulation, as a yellow pigment in toner obtained by a polymerization method; and also to provide a yellow toner excellent in offset property, charging property and storage property and having good coloring property and transparency for an OHP so as to meet requirements for higher performance by controlling the hue of the yellow pigment to a level equivalent to that of offset ink. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing yellow toner is produced in an aqueous medium and contains at least a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the colorant is obtained by processing a master batch prepared by kneading a mixture pigment of C.I.Pigment Yellow 74 and C.I.Pigment Yellow 185 and a binder resin which is a partial component of the above binder resin.
