PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a siding which takes advantage of the ground of a base plate, without the application of a film forming type coating, by decreasing the water absorbency of the base plate itself. SOLUTION: A fiber-reinforced cement board (flexible board) with low water absorbency is used as the base plate of the siding, so as to realize the siding taking advantage of the ground of the base plate, without the application of the conventionally generally-employed film forming type coating with water cut-off properties.
