PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack receiver seat capable of smoothly moving and guiding a rack shaft for a long period of time by preventing increase of sliding resistance caused by loss of a lubricant, a support yoke furnished with this rack receiver seat and a rack pinion type steering system capable of reducing deterioration of steering feeling due to increase of the sliding resistance of the rack shaft. SOLUTION: Recessed grooves 42 for introduction of the lubricant extending toward the inside in the axial direction from each of both side edges in the axial direction of the rack shaft are formed on a receiver surface 41 of the rack receiver seat 4 to slide on a peripheral surface of the rack shaft through the lubricant.
