PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head and a printer apparatus which can prevent a glass layer from being broken. SOLUTION: The thermal head comprises a head part 20, a heat radiation member 50 where the head part 20 is attached, and an adhesive layer 60. The head part 20 includes the glass layer 21 with a protrusion 25 formed in one surface and a concave groove 26 formed opposite to the protrusion 25 in the other surface, a heating resistor 22 set on the protrusion 25, and a pair of electrodes 23a and 23b disposed on both sides of the heating resistor 22. The adhesive layer 60 is formed between the head part 20 and the heat radiation member 50, and bonds the head part 20 to the heat radiation member 50.
