PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light metal panel component having improved dent resistance and improved snap-through resistance, and further to provide a method for manufacturing the light metal panel component, which method can manufacture the light metal panel component having improved dent resistance and improved snap-through resistance. SOLUTION: The method of the present invention is a method for manufacturing the light metal panel component to be painted and baked after press forming. The light metal panel component is manufactured by projecting ceramic beads having an average grain size of 30 to 100μm on at least one of the face and the back of the light metal panel component after press-forming. Further, the light metal panel component according to the present invention is painted and baked after press-forming. By projecting the ceramic beads after press-forming, at least one of the surface and the backface has a Vickers hardness of 130 to 150 HV and a 0.2% yield strength of 150 MPa or more.
