PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data correction apparatus obtaining uniform data by correcting the spatially ununiform sensitivity distribution of a sensor with simple processing, while keeping the spacial uniformity of an SNR (signal to noise ratio) distribution, and to provide a data correcting method, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, and an X-ray CT apparatus. SOLUTION: The data correction apparatus 1 includes a sensitivity correction means and an SNR distribution correcting means.
