<p>Disclosed are: a method for formation of a signal probe polymer which enables to form a polymer efficiently and quantitatively; a signal probe polymer formed by the method; an oligonucleotide probe for use in the method; and a target substance detection method having highly sensitivity and excellent quantitative capability. The method for formation of a signal probe polymer comprises reacting multiple pairs of oligonucleotide probes with each other to form a polymer, wherein each pair of oligonucleotide probes comprises a first probe having three nucleotide segments X, Y and Z located in this order from the 5'-terminus and a second probe having three nucleotide segments X', Y' and Z' located in this order from the 5'-terminus, and each of the segments in the oligonucleotide probe has a length ranging from 13 to 15 nucleotide.</p> |
