<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which, whenever warming up of a fuel cell is necessary, heat can always be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel gas supplying piping 11 connected on a supply side of a fuel cell FC is connected with a fuel gas introducing piping 44 and the fuel gas introducing piping 44 is connected at an upstream of a catalyst combustor 47 with a hydrogen injector 45 in-between. And, a fuel offgas piping 12 connected on an exhaust side of the fuel cell FC is connected with an introducing piping 43 with a switching purge valve 17 in-between.
