<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device, capable of superimposing a high-resolution security code that cannot be visible easily on a reception side, on an image. <P>SOLUTION: When the image data of a facsimile are received (S101), it is confirmed whether the security code is superimposed on the image data (S103). When the security code is superimposed on the image data, the content of the security code is held (S107), and the superimposed security code is deleted from the image (S109). The high-resolution security code, having the same information as the held security code, is generated (S111). A facsimile image is converted to a high-resolution image (S113).
