PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object recognition system for removing easily portions other than an objective image from image including the objective image to be investigated. SOLUTION: As to an image of two or more objects taken by a taking lens of a camera 10, two or more AF points 21 arranged at a reticle are displayed, along with an image of an object, in a finder VF. A selective switch, which is not illustrated, is pushed, and the AF point 21 at a position S including an extracted image A is illuminated, and an extracted image A nearest to the illuminated AF point 21 is selected from two or more images.
