PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a situation when data transfer is carried out from a mobile terminal to an electronic apparatus such as digital television, by means of communication having directivity such as infrared communication, and when the data transfer is temporarily suspended at the time of resuming, there can be a case that data transfer to the identical electronic apparatus with the apparatus used before the suspension cannot be performed if the output interface of the mobile terminal is directed to a different direction from the direction before the temporary suspension. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal performs data transfer using communication having directivity, and temporarily suspends the data transfer when, for example, a speech communication is started, and performs authentication of the data resumption destination when the speech communication is completed and data transfer is to be resumed. With this, it becomes possible to resume data transfer to the identical transfer destination with the destination to which data has been transferred before the suspension.
