PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose winding apparatus ensuring the operation of winding or unwinding a hose from a hose reel to be made easily and efficiently and avoiding the trouble of damaging the hose and/or the hose reel as well. SOLUTION: The hose winding apparatus 1 for a speed sprayer M is so designed as to enable the position of the hose reel 2 to wind the hose H therearound to be varied between any of active positions with the reel 2 projected out of a vehicle body 3 and a housing position with the reel 2 housed in the vehicle body 3. In this apparatus 1, there is provided a projection angle-setting mechanism 4 functioning to lock or unlock the hose reel 2 at any active positions Xa, Xb, Xc... selected from multiple projection angles at which the hose reel 2 is projected from the vehicle body 3.
