PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod that has improved torsional rigidity on casting with both hands. SOLUTION: The lure rod is attached to the rear part of the fiber-reinforced resin-made rod, and includes: a reel-mounting part 12S, equipped with a reel body 12 that is formed by integrally molding with a synthetic resin and is fitted to a rod body; a reel-fixing device having a pair of hood F1, F2; and a rear grip part RG that is separated more than the rear end of the reel seal body and can be gripped with one hand. On the pole rod 10 extending at least from the halfway position of reel sheet body to the halfway position of the rear side grip part, the inclined layer KSS are attached, which are formed by inclining the reinforced fiber where the first prepreg having reinforced fiber arranged in circumference and in the shaft length direction and the second prepreg having reinforced fiber arranged in circumference and in the shaft length direction to form the rolled layer JES. The second prepreg has a shape that the lower part corner is cut off and the cut off corner is covered by rolling the third prepreg in the inclined direction to form the inclined layer.
