<p>This invention provides a stirring device for stirring a liquid, held in a container by sound waves, and an analyzer. A stirring device (20) comprises a surface elastic wave element (24) for generating sound waves to be applied to a liquid, and a drive control unit (21) for regulating the temperature of the liquid being moved upward by sound waves applied by the surface elastic wave element, to a predetermined temperature or below. The drive control unit (21) controls the temperature of the liquid depending upon the properties related to the heat of the liquid. In the analyzer, a plurality of different liquids are stirred and are allowed to react with each other, and the reaction solution is analyzed by measuring the optical properties of the reaction solution. In this case, an analyte and a reagent are stirred with the stirring device, and the reaction solution is optically analyzed.</p> |
