A system and a method for informing a user of card payment through the network are provided to promote purchase activity of the user while informing the user of an approval result according to the card payment of the user, and induce the user to purchase goods by predicting the next purchase activity of the user. A purchase detail database(13) stores accumulated purchase detail information of the user. A purchase pattern analyzer(30) receives the approval result of the user from a payment server, stores the approval result to the purchase detail database, and analyzes a purchase pattern of the user and generates an analysis result by using the purchase detail information. A purchase promoter(40) predicts the next purchase activity of the user based on the analysis result and selects a promoting shop based on prediction. An information combiner(50) generates transmission information by generating and combining purchase promoting information for the shop with the approval result. A transmitter(70) transmits the transmission information to a phone number selected by a phone number extractor(60).
