FIELD: electrical engineering; oil-cooled transformers. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed transformer has wound magnetic core placed in case filled with insulating oil and device protecting oil against ingress of moisture. Conservator is disposed above oil surface. Device protecting oil against ingress of moisture is made in the form of oil seal divided into two equal intercommunicating parts half-filled with oil. One of these parts communicates with conservator and other one, with atmosphere through inlet and outlet safety valves. Provision is made for joint use of oil seal and both inlet and outlet valves. Overall efficiency exceeds total effect gained from each separate device. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of oil protection against ingress of moisture. ^ 1 cl, 1 dwg |
