FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compressors and pumps, namely, to liquid-ring machines provided with devices for capacity control. Proposed liquid-ring machine has housing with end faces covers and impeller arranged eccentrically in housing. One of end face covers is provided with movable frontal plate installed for axial displacement. Impeller is made sectional, with possibility of changing axial dimensions at change of position of frontal plate. ^ EFFECT: provision of changing of capacity without change of liquid-ring form at no requirement for additional energy supply. ^ 2 dwg
