<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack which reduces any deterioration generated at startup or stoppage time. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack uses electrical resistance of a current collector 4 to perform a rate-limiting operation of the electron flow in the direction intersecting with the lamination direction of unit cells 2a and 2b in an anode separator or a cathode separator attached to both ends of a laminated body 3 abutting on the current collector 4. Any deterioration in the fuel cell stack is reduced in a method of retarding the speed of electron flowing through the current collector by lowering a contact surface pressure between the current collector and laminated body below the normal surface pressure at a startup or stoppage time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
