<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter which uses/distributes a plurality of power supplies with no intervention of a DC-DC converter to reduce overall volume/loss, takes a minimum on pulse width which can be realized with a semiconductor element into account, and unnecessarily raises breakdown strength of elements. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter for driving a motor 15 has a phase for generating a driving voltage for driving the motor 15 by generating/synthesizing pulses from output voltages of a plurality of power sources as connected to a plurality of DC power sources 11a and 11b, and a phase for generating a driving voltage of the motor 15 by generating pulses from an output voltage of the DC power source as connected to a single DC power source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
