<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drip tube which increases the number of drips per unit time by reducing the absorption at a drip opening provided at the drip tube used to administer an infusion solution to a patient by infusion to prevent the drip balls from being generated at the drip opening and accurately detects the drips of the infusion solution. <P>SOLUTION: In the drip tube 1 provided in an infusion passage for administering the infusion solution by infusion, the drip opening 4 provided inside the drip tube 1 is formed of a water-shedding material, or a material showing water-shedding properties is applied to the periphery of the drip opening 4.
