<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtering device which can perform easy maintenance with a simple structure, and uses efficient aerobic bacteria. <P>SOLUTION: The filtering device comprises a body having an opening in the upper surface, an upper filter medium case and a lower filter medium case accommodated in the body, and vertically piled up in a two-stage double row, and a lid for closing the opening of the body. The body comprises a water supply pipe for spraying water pumped up from a tank onto the upper surface of the upper filter medium case, a drain pipe for returning water filtered sequentially through the upper filter medium case and the lower filter medium case, and a connecting pipe detachably attached to the drain pipe, and capable of retaining a certain quantity of the filtrate in the body. The upper filter medium case has a fine mesh wool mat, and a coarse mesh mat, and coral sand in it for sequentially filtering the pumped-up water sprayed from the water supply pipe, and the lower filter medium case has coral sand in it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
