<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp clip capable of stably holding a lamp even when inclined surfaces are formed on the abutting side abutting on the other member by a draft required to be provided in a die when molding the clip by a synthetic resin, and a backlight device equipped with the lamp clip. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical protrusion 12 and holding parts 13 are provided on one side of a rectangular plate-shaped support plate part 11, and engagement protrusions 14 are provided on the other side. A first inclined part 15 inclining from one long side to the other long side, and a second inclined part 16 inclining from the other long side to one long side are molded on the other side of the support plate part 11 abutting on the other member.
